Positive: Beautiful boutique resort with spacious, individual treehouse style bungalows completely enclosed to protect guests from mosquitos. Property has a small natural swimming hole as well as man made swimming pool. Breakfast is included and was lovely - the attention to detail with organic style ceramic crockery was great. Staff are wonderful! Laundry, tea, coffee, linen, umbrellas, bathrobes and slippers are included. At the time we booked, this property was quite a bit more expensive than other options in the Daintree but it was evident why and is great for a special occasion.

Negative: Nothing! There are mosquitoes so be prepared with long loose clothing. The rooms are fully enclosed with fly wire and staff light mosquito repellent lamps at the restaurant area so this isn’t a major issue.

Positive: The rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff are lovely and the views from the rooms were magnificent. Breakfast each morning was delicious.

Negative: Minor detail but more hanging space in the bathroom for two towels would be good.

Summary: Such a lovely time. Loved listening to the animals during the night. Such a peaceful spot.

Positive: Their staff and hospitality are outstanding. Jody went above and beyond to welcome us, and Julia, Maggie, and Phalum provided outstanding service in the dining area. Julia also was very helpful with a maintenance issue on our door. We stayed in 10 different locations during our 28-day Australia trip and by far, this location provided the best hospitality and atmosphere.

Positive: The location is absolutely stunning and the whole place had such a relaxing atmosphere — exactly what we needed. The staff were incredible and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. On top of that, the food was outstanding and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!
