Negative: WLAN not provided ( as there is limited coverage), all was nice, could be topped with a pool for adults and playground for kids.

Positive: The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. We loved the setting in the rainforest and we enjoyed the trails onsite. The food in the restaurant was good. If you'd like to eat anywhere else you'll need a car. But you need a car anyway to get here, so that shouldn't be a problem. It's 30 minutes away from Cape Trib. Staff is very friendly. We had a lovely time here and used this as a base to explore Daintree NP.

Negative: The swimming pool is more of a children's pool. It's also isolated and it doesn't look inviting at all. The door knob to open the door is very high, so I got stuck when I wanted to leave (as a small adult).

Positive: The property was much better than it seemed through the photos. It was cosy and clean, with two fans in our twin room that were individually controlled. The room had a bar fridge, cups, and coffee and tea provided. The property also has a short trail system that residents can use, and said to have regular visits from cassowaries and Musk rat kangaroos. There is also a roost for the Spectacled Flying foxes on site. As a bird watcher it was nice to see a few species of doves roosting in the trees around the property. The owners were really friendly and nice when it comes to recommendations and maintaining the property! Though it should be noted that there is limited reception on site for optus, and no reception on telstra network.
