Positive: The location is beautiful, situated at around 1500 meters altitude with lovely views of the mountains. It’s easy to start hiking directly from the property. Coffee and breakfast were good, with the option to sit outside.

Negative: The accommodation felt overpriced for what was offered. The villa is somewhat dated and could benefit from renovation. There was no air conditioning or fan, which made it quite warm inside, even with outside temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius. The spa bath with massage jets did not function properly, lacking power and taking a long time to fill. We had dinner once at the on-site restaurant, but the dining room was warm, with no fresh air or outdoor terrace available. There is a heated pool, but it is indoors and has a strong chlorine smell, so it does not offer a refreshing swim after a day of hiking. The property resembles a campsite, with many caravans and quite a few families with small children. It’s good to keep in mind that if you are looking for a quiet escape from the city to de-stress, there might be some noise from other guests.
