Summary: The hotel and surroundings areas are great, a very good piece of history on their own. However, the rooms, the facilities and restaurants look quite dated, as if they got stuck in the 90s. The food was average. Staff was very kind.

Summary: This may seem an expensive place to stay as it oozes quality and expenses, but think again. It is not cheap, but it is a hotel of the very finest quality backed by its facilities, its staff, and its fantastic grounds. Accessing Edinburgh is easy via the bus from the main road, or the park and ride site two miles away. After a busy day touring the city Dalmahoy is the perfect place to relax, unwind, recharge and repeat. If you play golf allow yourself time to play both the East and West Courses. The leisure facilities are second to none and there are several eating/drinking places on site. Looking forward to a return visit with/without a party of friends.

Summary: Not a great start when you enter and here 1 of the reception staff arguing over a customers room service issue and customer bring called a stupid cow. 2nd reception was more interested in talking to concerge and i waited 5+ mins before being acknowledge. The room allocated was very outdated, poor amenities and non branded offering of amenities. Bathroom taps broken, mold on shower tiling, flaking paint on windows, no air con and very bad tv reception. Very poor quality breakfast ingredients. The overall stay was very disappointing and I’d have to say I’ve stayed in better Travelodge properties.
