Positive: My wife and I stayed at Haus Sophie with our three young children and we all absolutely fell in love with it. We have stayed in several villas in Dalyan and there was something special about this place that felt so homely. I think because it is a lived in house, the amenities are excellent. Plenty of kitchen gadgets as well as herbs and spices, coffee, oil…the list goes on. There was even a beer in the fridge when we arrived which a lovely surprise and a nice touch. The owner Saadet was very welcoming and helpful. There was a power cut when we arrived and she was straight round with torches and lights. The pool is beautiful and has sails strung up above which provide protection from the fierce Turkish sun. It is little details like this that set Haus Sophie apart from your standard holiday rental property. We all had a great time around the pool and there is a lovely big day bed that the kids loved lying and playing on. I would recommend this villa to any families or anyone wanting to visit Dalyan. We would definitely return there, which is always a good sign in my book.

Positive: We stayed at the end of August 2023, the communication with the owners after booking was excellent any questions I had were answered promptly, we booked our transfers through the owners and they wasn't any issues, we went straight from the airport to the villa and saadet the owner was there to meet us, such a lovely lady, the villa itself is very homely, everything you need is there, the pool is great and the views from the pool is amazing so relaxing, the kids were straight in the pool and there was inflatables and pool noodles they could use, the villa is in an amazing location walking distance to the centre and the market, with a small shop really close by. Nothing was too much trouble for saadet, she came daily to water the plants and make sure the pool was clean, thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Positive: On arrival, we were met by the whole family, they showed us the villa, air con etc. Every day, we spoke via WhatsApp to see if we were happy. The whole villa, location and everything else were superb. We definitely will return, it's a 10/10.
Negative: Nothing, it was a fantastic villa and a brilliant, relaxing holiday.

Positive: This was a real gem of a property, incredibly close to the town (a few minutes walk) and yet far enough away that it was still incredibly tranquil and there was minimal noise plus a beautiful view of the hills. The owner was charming and couldn't do enough for us. The villa was incredibly well equipped with everything you could need from kitchen utensils, condiments, extra pillows, towels and bedding (so often all of these are lacking). There was also a washing machine, coffee machine and a dishwasher, all a godsend. The garden was lovely, the terrace was nice and cool even in the midday sun, and the pool was divine, We loved the huge day bed which could fit all four of us.
Negative: One of the beds was a little uncomfortable. In hindsight I wish that I had made the children (who shared the other double) swap with us as their bed was divine!
Summary: A wonderful find and we will definitely be back :-)
