Summary: Our family with adult sons stayed for a week in July to celebrate two birthdays and we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed kayaking, sailing, swimming, eating outside at the picnic table, fires, games… And my husband cannot say enough about the fishing - He caught (and released) so many huge bass! It’s a simple cottage, but it was perfect for us and the beds were very comfortable. The view is amazing and loons were everywhere. Rosemary was also very responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend it!

Summary: Where to start? Rose was sensational- responsive, flexible, and extremely helpful. Her cottage is the best stocked rental I have ever stayed in!!! It was perfect for 3 adults and 2 dogs. We loved walking on the Maguire road, kayaking, swimming(even in October!!!), hanging out in the sunroom, cooking meals together, and the outdoor fireplace. It met and exceeded all my hopes. Definitely going back if it works for our schedule next fall.

Summary: We had the best stay. Property was clean and quiet. The camp has everything you need. Rose was very quick (and friendly) with communication. Check in and out is a breeze. We stay at a camp every summer, but have only returned for multiple visits to one other camp in 20+ yrs (nothing else has been a perfect fit for us). We definitely want to return next year. The deck over the water, the docks, the lawn for the dogs to run, the sun room, 2 bathrooms, spacious well-stocked kitchen. The lake is awesome also. Great swimming, fishing, and boating. Not busy with a lot of boat traffic (it was fine even the day they had the bass tournament). Highly recommend! Oh and close to Damriscotta and Boothbay Harbor for day trips.

Summary: Just spent the week at this peaceful cozy camp right on the lake. Very comfortable with everything you need. Great fishing and boating on the massive lake! Great place to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Hoping to go back next summer!

Summary: We loved this charming cabin with everything you could ever need and the most gorgeous setting. Total quiet, so we could hear the loons and watch them swimming by. Kayaks, canoe, swimming, and beautiful deck over the water. Just dreamy!

Summary: This was a really great place to spend our 5 days. The owners actually understate how well set up the place is and the pictures on the site don't do it justice. The nice queen size bed in the first bedroom isn't shown. There are two kayaks ready to go, and plenty of chairs right there on the deck overlooking the lake. The loons in the woods and on the lake add a beautiful touch to the stay. Our sons, 17 and 22, both loved it as well. Plenty of board games and a comfortable living room set up. House next door is a little close but no big deal. The house has the authentic vibe of a nice classic cabin on a lake. Not pristine, but clean and just right for a traditional lake vacation. Would definitely recommend and love to go back. Bill R

Summary: The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the lake and comfort of this house, which is just steps from the water. We spent a week here with our teenage sons and everyone loved the place. Enjoy the lake from upper deck with picnic table and grill or lower deck jutting out over the lake with plenty of comfortable seating. Property includes private dock for launching the kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and sailboat on the premises, and a floating dock to swim to and for jumping off. We enjoyed the unspoiled view of pines across the lake, loons diving and calling all evening, and a bald eagle spotted on one of the many islands in the lake. Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Only downside was slow internet and non-functioning satellite TV, but being forced to play board games (provided) was no hardship. Location: nearest grocery store or restaurant is 20 minutes away, so bring your food with you, but Camden Hills and Pemaquid Point are only 40 minutes, so there are plenty of nearby destinations if you tire of swimming, kayaking, and views of the lake.
