Positive: We only had one issue with accommodation and that was the air con. They sorted this straight away. The accommodation is within walking distance to: Danube. Basilica where hop on hop off bus starts from and where the River cruises start from. Its walking distance to the bottom of fenicular to castle. 5 min walk to be able to see buda side- best seen at night. Our flight was at 9pm -They allowed us to store our luggage and enjoy the day without worrying about them. Best of all- and never seen this before - sending us a video of how to access the building after reception closed. All absolutely fantastic. Well done to whoever runs this place. Ps staff at cafe are also fantastic.
Summary: Excellent and if we ever come back to Budapest, this is where we would stay.

Positive: Fabulous location and a grand room right in the center. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and very helpful
Negative: Loud music woke us up every morning at 7am.. The shower could do with an extension to the screen or a better gradient to stop the water going everywhere

Positive: A beautiful, comfortable, spacious, clean room right in the heart of vibrant Vaci street, close to many shops, restaurants and cafés. The staff is very polite, responsive and always helpful with a smile!! Loved it and would definitely stay again.

Positive: Check-In: The check-in process was smooth and easy, done entirely through an app, which was convenient. Arrival & Access: Upon arrival, I was surprised to find a staircase at the entrance with no assistance available—quite challenging if you’re carrying heavy luggage, as I was. It’s something to keep in mind for travelers with mobility issues or lots of bags. Room: The room itself was okay. The bed was comfortable, and there was a coffee machine and some basic bathroom amenities. However, housekeeping was minimal—cleaning only every three days, and the overall maintenance felt a bit limited. Noise: One major downside was the noise. During cleaning times, there was a lot of disturbance from neighboring suites, which affected the overall comfort. Location: The location is definitely the highlight. It’s perfectly situated, with most attractions, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. Staff & Service: Staff support was minimal. Assistance was limited compared to what you’d expect even from a basic hotel, and the overall hospitality felt a bit hands-off. Final Thoughts: If you’re just looking for a place to sleep in a great location and don’t mind a self-service style setup, Damas Suite could work. But next time, I’d likely opt for a hotel with more complete services and better guest support.
Negative: I wouldn’t say I didn’t like my stay, but there were a few things that made it less comfortable for me personally. The staircase at the entrance was a major inconvenience, especially when arriving with heavy luggage, and there was no one available to assist. Cleaning services were quite limited—I had to specifically request daily towel changes and follow up to make sure it was done. It felt more like a self-service setup than a hotel experience. I stayed in Suite 106, which unfortunately had several electrical issues. I had to communicate with the property multiple times to address them, which isn’t something you really want to deal with when you’re trying to enjoy a vacation.
