Summary: What is not to love about being welcomed into Richard and Ruth’s home. They are wonderful hosts and spent hours talking to us both during our stay. The house is an amazing building and learning about its history was wonderful. We walked into the tiny town and got some dinner, lovely options available. We can not wait to visit again and will be recommending anyone travelling around this area should certainly book a stay.

Summary: Richard and Ruth are wonderful hosts in their beautiful historic inn. Their kindness made it a bit easier to say goodbye to our daughter for her first year of college. The rooms were perfectly appointed and the home was clean and the attention to detail was impressive. I look forward to returning!

Summary: Richard and Ruth were superlative hosts. So helpful, friendly and kind. They welcomed us as if we were family and assisted us with everything that we required and more. Couldn’t recommend their comfortable and historic place more highly. A must for anyone looking for a perfect stay in the Boston area.

Summary: The Daniel Stebbins Inn is the quintessential New England bed-and-breakfast. An historic house, restored but with perfect patina, it was appointed with stunning period-correct furniture and art. Our room was fitted beautifully, and the bed was exquisitely comfortable. Ruth and Richard are consummate hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
