Positive: The hotel has a good, spacious parking. The rooms were very comfortable even though ours wasn't yet renovated. The staff was always super nice and friendly. The food variety was good and the quality was amazing. The SPA area was a great fit for our 10 years old son. He was able to play inside and swim outside. There is a garden for sun bathing which we really enjoyed. P.S. Big thanks to Akos from the reception for finding a cable to start the car as our battery was empty.

Positive: I really enjoyed the wide variety of food at the restaurant—it was delicious and fresh. The swimming pools and saunas were spacious and impeccably clean, making for a truly relaxing experience. For families with children, Danubius Hotel Bük is an excellent choice. There is a fantastic indoor playroom on the first floor, and another larger one on the -1 floor, equipped with a ball pit and more fun activities. Older kids will love the game room with arcade machines. Additionally, the hotel offers two bowling lanes, a table tennis area, and a small gym for those looking to stay active. The outdoor facilities are just as impressive, featuring a playground for kids, tennis courts, an outdoor pool, mini-golf, and even a zipline for some added adventure. Overall, it’s a great place for both relaxation and fun, whether you’re traveling with family or just looking for a well-equipped wellness retreat.
Negative: In the room on the second floor (223? or something similar), the heater was running constantly from around 5 AM to 10 AM and then from 8 PM to around midnight. I reported this issue to the reception three times, and a mechanic also came to our room, but it couldn't be switched off. As a result, the temperature in the room was around 25–27°C. We had to open the window from time to time, but with a small child, that wasn’t always an option. The hotel provides free reusable plastic bottles to reduce plastic waste, but at the same time, energy is being wasted due to the malfunctioning heater. If you truly want to be a sustainable hotel, I suggest starting with fixing the heating problem rather than focusing on plastic bottles. No discount or apology gift was offered, as professional hotels usually do. I had to go to the reception multiple times regarding this issue, yet no staff member bothered to follow up on it. During checkout, there was also a problem with paying in euros. First, they charged my card, then took the same amount in cash, and I had to wait several days for the refund to be processed. The restaurant staff barely speaks English and responds in German. At the reception, not everyone speaks English either.

Positive: Very nice buffet, nice sauna, new renovated room very comfortable. We come regularly to this hotel and we were always very happy with our stay.
Negative: After 7pm shower in the room was only lukewarm, not very hot. In the saunas and specially in the resting zone some people talk very loud or even play with the mobile phones. Would be probably good to have some sign that people shall relax and if they need entertain themselves than should go to the swimming pools area.

Positive: Almost everything was perfect. Locality, food, personal, the spa part was amazing. Especially our daughter really enjoyed it.
Negative: My only problem was the mattresses, because they were too soft for me, but everything else was undoubtedly, exceptional.
