Positive: We had a fantastic stay in Tunis in the Dar Ben Turkia! We had an apartment with two bed rooms and two bathrooms for us and our two children, and a living room. We really liked it! It is a beautiful property, very luxurious and beautifully decorated! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The fridge was stocked with fresh fruit and milk upon our arrival. We ate breakfast on the roof top overlooking the medina. The property is located in the city, and you have to walk a few minutes to get there. Very authentic! We ate both nights in the Dar El Jeld, on the roof top, the sister hotel restaurant, because we liked the food and location so much. Also, the hotel smells really very nice! I regret not having bought their perfume. All in all a wonderful stay! I want to return there!

Positive: The hotel exceeded expectations. It offers 5-star service and room facilities, comfort and an excellent hammam offering a wonderful massage (and other services), as well as friendly and helpful staff. The quality of the room furnishings was of a high standard, the bathroom was immaculate, beautifully designed and stocked with toiletries. There was a wonderful welcome pack of snacks, chocolates, and even a range of tinned fish! The fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks, eggs, milk, and plenty of water. The hotel has lovely little outdoor spaces like the tranquil and beautiful courtyard with a fountain in the middle and a lovely roof terrace with views of the old city, where you can enjoy the tasty generous breakfast which consisted of a range of fresh pastries and cakes, omelette, cold meats, fresh seasonal fruit, gorgeous coffee, hot chocolate for the kids and lovely fresh juices. We left to go to hammamat for some days in a so-called “5 star” all inclusive resort and just wanted to go back to Dar Ben Turkia! If you want to be in the midst of the vibrant Medina with culture and history, as well as the hustle and bustle of the souk, while being able to escape to an intimate haven of luxury and comfort, this is the place for you!

Positive: Our stay at Ben Turkia was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond with their outstanding customer service. Everyone from reception to housekeeping was kind, professional, and always ready to help. The property is immaculate, and the entire place smells absolutely divine, with the refreshing scent of orange oil in every corner. It really adds to the relaxing atmosphere! Our room exceeded our expectations. The photos online truly don’t do justice. We were pleasantly surprised to find a separate room with two single beds for our children and a spacious primary bedroom upstairs in the loft. You can choose to have breakfast on the roof top, terrace or your room. Breakfast was amazing and always on time. There is always someone coming to check in and take your order for fresh juice / coffee & tea. This is perfect for families. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Medina and close to the mosque. While the narrow alleys can be tricky to navigate at first, the hotel’s reception and security team made sure we were guided in and out with ease. Highly recommend this beautiful and welcoming property for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and comfortable stay in the Medina! We ended up booking the hotel again on the way back to Tunis.
