Positive: Comfortable room in an excellent location in the centre of Houmt Souk. The staff (including cats!) are great, and the breakfast though it's not substantial is a pleasant mix of fruit, bread and eggs (served differently each day).
Negative: The shower was a little rudimentary - however there was always plenty of hot water. It took us a while to work out how the TV worked.
Summary: A characterful building with great rooftop terrace, & lovely staff to help you have a relaxing stay

Positive: We loved the friendly welcome and personal touch. All the ladies and the cats that work there are very friendly, despite the language barrier as the day staff don't speak much English, and our French was very basic, but the lady in the evening speaks good English. The hotel is very clean, with a nice roof terrace to enjoy the sun, also a communal sitting room with games. There's use of the kitchen to make your own drinks etc, and the main reception area doubles as a breakfast room, which is a very sociable experience. The breakfast was lovely, with many options from yoghurt, fruit, bread, toast and omelette. Our room had a juliet balcony, overlooking part of the Souk, it can be a bit noisy in the morning but it didn't bother us, as we decided to stay here to be in the middle of everything. The room was spacious, but the bathroom quite small. Overall we had a fantastic stay, thankyou for organising the birthday cake 😊 Hope to see you again. Lee & Sónia
