Positive: Lovely room, I spent 3 nights at this hotel, the breakfast was lovely. I was very happy.

Negative: Very difficult to get in, another guest had to help me. If they are taking last minute bookings, they should have something to alert them to the fact that they have one. Finally found watch man eating upstairs, totally oblivious. I’d been driving for 15 hours and just wanted to rest. Sign outside is very small.

Summary: Beautiful building, I had a comfortable stay.

Positive: A comfortable, family-owned guest house in downtown Dakhla. this very solid building was built over a period of 2 years by the French owners. The interior walls are very solid so the rooms are wonderfully silent. Breakfast is served each morning in a communal dining room. A highlight of my stay was a day trip with Sidi (the neighbour) who took me in his 4WD into the desert.
