Positive: Not a bad place to stay to see Passau, despite the creaky floors. Large rooms, great little balcony for reading and listening to the birds. Only 20 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes from the Fortress . Thirty seconds and you are walking by the Danube.

Positive: The first apartment we were allocated unfortunately didn't suit us as it was down a flight of stairs but the owner willingly moved us to a ground floor apartment. Very spacious, very bright, stylishly decorated and furnished by the owner herself. Large comfy beds. Everything was very clean. Towels white and fluffy. Well equipped kitchen area with oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher. Amazing location. Incredible value. Would highly recommend and would be happy to stay there again.
Negative: Very creaky floorboards. The trick is to stand on the joints between the boards, not on the middle of a board

Negative: Maybe the uneven stairs to get to the room but also kind of part of the charm of this hotel.

Positive: The overall experience. Spotless, very close to the river, beautiful building and garden. The young lady, Lena, is such an attribute to the establishment. She even assisted me in getting me to tap and pay after losing my purse. She was really the only one that was prepared to assist.M
