Positive: The property is stunning. The rooms are very comfortable.
Negative: The new bar in the center of the lobby is very cool - however, it feels like the lobby is lacking places to sit if you are waiting for people or just lounging. Every place in the lobby seems like you need to be a patron of either the restaurant or bar. While I was waiting for friends I had to move twice due to being seated in a place where I couldn’t just sit and wait.
Summary: Always love the Davenport.

Positive: The bar was so fun and elegant. We did not participate in the brunch but it looked wonderful.
Negative: We got our stay on a good deal, without it we would not have chosen to stay.
Summary: So beautiful and a great overnight get away!

Positive: The old Hotel is beautiful. Worth just going in to see the Lobby area and main floor. Have a meal or drink . Well worth your time to see but stay elsewhere due to room cost compared to room quality.
Negative: The room was very small and several things were not as they should be. Broken toilet seat, alarm clock didn't work and sink that did not drain.
Summary: I would suggest looking at the public areas and stay someplace else due to high costs for the room.

Positive: The ambience in social spaces were nice.
Negative: The temperature in room was hot. Had to ask them to turn it down twice. The rooms could use a little modern touch such as newer curtains especially veils. The bed mattresses not too comfortable. Vacuum around beds thoroughly
