Summary: Paul and the staff were just awesome! Very friendly and always seeing to our needs. The whole place was in great shape. I could tellvthat a lot of work went into gettingvthis place back where it is now. I saw staff or Paul walking the property picking up after litterbugs and just checking on things. The grandkids loved the resident Hen and her 5 chicks.

Summary: Hotel and rooms are a lil outdated. Guest service is top notch and rooms are comfy. Nice place to stay to get away for a few days.

Summary: It looked more like a motel than a hotel. Everything looked old and outdated. The rate we were charged led us to believe it would be a hotel. It was misleading.

Summary: I would not choose this hotel again for my stay to visit my daughter at Eglin A.F.B. 3 nights and no housekeeping service. The front desk staff did tell me that if we needed anything to just ask, but it was not the level of service I am accustomed to. The room and bathroom floor was wet and damp all the time. The pillows, linens, and our clothes stayed uncomfortably damp--they felt like they were just taken out of the washing machine. The hotel seems to be a place where people live and pay a weekly or monthly rent and the guys outside drinking beer by the pool morning, noon, and night made us uncomfortable. At some point during the middle of the night, people were smoking marijuana and it wafted into our room through the vents I guess. Only on the last day when I went in to check out did I grab a cup of coffee at the breakfast area. It appeared very clean and had the usual yogurt, cereal, waffles, bagels, and coffee. It was nice and sufficient. Pay a little more and stay at one of the nicer hotels along the same road. There is a Best Western, Holiday Inn, Home 2 Suites, TownPlace Suites, and more nearby.
