Summary: The smell of bleach slapped me in the face as I crossed the threshold of the room. Did somebody die in here. Then I saw what amounted to a hole in the mattress. I slept to one side of it. I've never been so happy to leave a hotel.

Summary: We stayed here for two nights on our way to Helen, GA. We stopped here to check out Cloudland State Park. The location was ideal for that and it was near the highway. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable even tho the hotel was older. It could use some updating. We did have a man knock on our door at 11pm asking for money claiming he ran our of gas on the highway. We were not too thrilled about that, but overall the hotel was ok.

Summary: Very clean hotel. I asked to change from a regular room to a handicapped accessible room for the second night of our stay, and the Saturday morning staff easily arranged this.

Summary: We ended up having to stay two nights due to my husband getting sick. They worked with us when we were low on funds and we're very understanding and empathetic. By far the nicest place we've stayed. Also, the bed was very comfy!
