Positive: Very friendly and helpful hosts :) We enjoyed our stay in Kasteelboerderij, the location gives a peaceful village vibe, perfect to recharge far from busy cities. The apartment has all necessary equipment and facilities, it was spotless clean, the spa bath was a nice addition! We recommend 😀

Positive: The whirpool bathtub was a definite plus :) Also there's a little shop at the entrance where you can buy regional stuff like (non-alcoholic) beer, wine, juice and more. You pay by just putting money in a little box which is a nice system.
Negative: The place was directly located at a highway which means that you were confronted with cars zooming by when looking out the window. Even though it says "soundproof" on the website, it's rather loud. If you're comfortable with people looking at you while eating or lying in bed you can leave the curtains open. Otherwise you should close them which makes the room even darker than it already is. The pots and the pan were dirty. We tried to clean them best we could but without proper cleaning supplies like vinegar it's not possible. We were told that there was floor heating but the floor was cold. Also there was no way to control the room heating. There was a folder that explained everything there was to know about the apartment (except how to control the heating) but it was in Dutch. It would have been nice to a have copy for the most important stuff in English. The bill was also in Dutch. All in all it's too expensive for the location; if we would have known that there was a highly used road next to it, we would not have booked it.
