Positive: Location was great. Free all-you-can-drink soft drink. Free buffet breakfast. Huge closet. Huge room. Large shower stall and comfortable water. Light control next to bed. Long bench and desk. Sink right in room for easy access.
Negative: Sound insulation was poor, but it was somewhat expected at this price. Bed was sagged at the center, I had to sleep towards the edge. This bed should be replaced.

Positive: Only stayed here for 10 hrs before getting the Alishan railway from Chiayi in the morning. Comfortable, clean, hotel staff spoke English. Nice easy walk to the station. If like me you want somewhere cheap and easy to stay in Chiayi before heading up to Alishan, this place is great
Negative: Nothing inspiring, relatively bland interior.
Summary: A great convenient place for going up Alishan :)
