Positive: This home stay was fantastic! The owners were in touch with me prior to my arrival and helped me find the home stay and let me check in early. They even upgraded my room! This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in: it was a courtyard where you had your own room or little ‘building’. There was a shared space to hang out and to get water or tea. The owners were incredibly kind and had many recommendations for food.

Positive: Very well located beautiful property that was very comfortable to stay at.

Negative: My only issue is my room had an uncovered window and the two window coverings on the other windows were not blackout and there was a light right beside one of them. Sleeping mask did the trick, but it was too light for me to sleep in the room without it.

Positive: This place was lovely! A great location in Anping, but it felt a world away, nestled in a garden. Despite being so close to everything, it was very quiet. The room had everything I needed and felt very nice.

Positive: An odd little vacation rental, rather than a hotel or bnb. It seemed like there were two apartments: the upstairs and an external renovated garden building. Nice little garden, although not really somewhere I spent any time. I had a large space upstairs. Fine location if you want to stay near Anping (where a couple historic sites are, but otherwise not much of interest).

Negative: Had a built-out loft feel, with several extra mattresses available. I had trouble finding the door to the courtyard and wandered all over the neighborhood until a bystander took pity on me (and fortunately knew the landlords).
