Summary: Five minutes from St Germain. Quiet and peaceful with a few neighboring cabins you share a dock with. Not loud and busy. The cabin is very well thought out with a coffee pot, plenty of pots and pans, no lids but we used Reynolds wrap, a common TV and another small TV with a DVD player in the bedroom that holds a bunk set, single and queen. Ceiling and floor fans in the bedrooms. The living room is spacious with a nice kitchen. Very clean and great hot water. Oh and the tap water is great. No need for bottle water. Overall we’re very pleased and hopefully will come back next year. Sawyer didn’t bug us at all. Very much our space for the week. 😊. Peaceful place.

Summary: Cabin in good shape. Directions needs some work. I do not have gps. Biggest thing was kids getting Swim Itch. Of course owner can't control that, just be aware. Overall a good stay.

Summary: Cute property with a nice view of Lost Lake. Loved the two bedrooms with king size beds for the adults and the extra room with beds for kiddos. Quick drive into town as well. Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking a few dinners. Maybe I missed it in the listing, but towels are not included in the linens. Didn’t find this out until I was about to bathe two kiddos before bedtime and closest drive to get some was 15 minutes one way. Also, the bathroom door does not stay latched and swings open which is a bit awkward when sharing a bathroom with another family.

Summary: My family was very pleased with the quality, amenities, accessibility, and cleanliness of this cabin. Deer Grove is aptly named because there were deer wandering around most evenings we were there. The check in process was easy. The coded lock worked well, although it would be nice if the mechanism could be set to not lock every time the door closes. It was easy to set a shorter temporary code. The host responded quickly with brief answers to the few questions I had about the door lock, linens, wifi, ceiling fan operation, etc. The heat worked well, the kitchen had great appliances, utensils, and layout. The easy chairs and sofa were comfy, three separate bedrooms with 6 beds altogether, the beds and pillows were comfy and big, lighting was good, and the Direct TV worked well. Lots of shelving, extra bath tissue and paper towels for cleanup. We ate out all the time so did not cook anything, but easily could have. We did not have any problems finding the cabin location, since we've been coming to the Sayner St Germain Boulder Junction area for a long time. If you aren't familiar with the area, it helps to have good cellular reception if you're relying on GPS mapping. The neighborhood is small (approx 6 other cottages/cabins in the immediate area) and was quiet at the time of our stay. Lost Lake has many other cottages on it, so I would imagine it would be a busy lake during the summer season. A couple improvements to the cabin would be blinds or shades on the windows facing the driveway and lake. No privacy in the living room, esp. at night. If you're staying a week or more, bring your own clothes hangers. In the bathroom, the tub plug seemed to leak, so the tub didn't hold water for a bath, but the shower was great, and there's plenty of hot water. We stayed here in early October, so didn't need AC. That's good because there is no AC. In warmer weather, opening screened windows and a number of floor standing fans, plus ceiling fans are what's on hand to stay cool. All told, I would definitely stay at Deer Grove cabin again.

Summary: We were very satisfied with the cabin and outdoor deck, but disappointed in the lack of advertised amenities. Playground - nonexistent Beach - 3 ft. stretch of sand at the bottom of a steep sand hill - not very accessible Fire pit in common area - nonexistent

Summary: This was a perfect snowmobiling trip with my 2 college kids. The cabin was conveniently located off the snowmobile trails and close to Sayner/St. Germain. The cabin was clean and cozy. I think the kids enjoyed sitting around at the cabin as much as riding the sleds. Thanks for allowing us to make some great memories
