Positive: Deerhurst has the excellent staff, We’re booking a room 2 queen size bed with balcony thru booking.com, we think we’re booking Summit or Palvilion room, but when we’re check in the it was Bayshore the room is without balcony my wife asked to change to a walk out balcony, The staff managed to change us from Bayshore building to Palvilion with an up charge $146.90,
Negative: Booking.com didn’t provide full details on our booking, we end up with a king size bed room with an $146.90 up charge, instead of 2 queens size bed as original plans,
Summary: Very good and friendly staffing, very good food at restaurant

Positive: the buffet breakfast and carvery dinners were fabulous.
Negative: We were a bit surprised on the Monday night when the maple pub was closed. This limited our dining to compass. We would have appreciated more choice.

Positive: Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good for travel to Algonquin Park.
Negative: A bit expensive given the resort features that are available like the indoor pool (small), arcade and restaurants. Didn't take advantage of outdoor pool or restaurants. Found that dining options were better in nearby Huntsville than at the resort. Main building was full so was located at the Bayshore building about 5 minute walk away from main building. Was early in the season so many things were not open or available.
