Positive: Great location in a quiet village and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were kind and helpful. The Derby Arms proved to be an excellent base for exploring the Southern Lake District, we will definitely stay there again.

Positive: The staff were lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the open fires were amazing.
Negative: Unfortunately we had to change rooms as the hot water wasnt working properly but it still wasn't working when we changed rooms. I booked the roll top bath for valentine's day but as there was no hot water we couldn't use it. Quite disappointed 😞
