Positive: Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast plentiful and very tasty. Room with a great view of the Eiger. Location excellent, close to train, buses and perfect for walking. Truly a wonderful hotel.
Summary: Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Positive: Excelent location. Grindelwald is a lovely mountain resort, very nice view of the Alps, especially Eiger. The Hotel is very close to the railway station, yet, we had the room on the opposite site, with the view to Eiger, so there was no noise from the trains. Excelent food - serving breakfast was a delight, we has good Swiss quality food. Very nice personel, as well! The hotel is old, but has a nice architecture.
Negative: We received a room on the last floor, with no balcony. There was not enough light in the hotel room, only some dim bulb ligths. Also, not enough power outlets and located in unconvenient places of the room.
