Summary: It’s like staying with a favourite uncle, we were received like family. Father, daughter team are so nice, helpful, friendly, we really enjoyed our stay in their atmospheric Victorian hotel.

Summary: The hotel is charming and old-fashioned and very centrally located — only a 20 minute walk or so from Temple Bar and quite close to a number of restaurants, convenience stores, and groceries. They have 24-hour front-desk service and restricted access to the lobby, which makes the property feel wonderfully safe, and the staff were so kind and accommodating in every possible way. It's a family-owned business and you can really tell that they all care very much about the guests and their comfort. My room was very reasonably sized for one person and probably could even have fit two, and it was well-maintained and clean throughout. Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay and would recommend it particularly for solo travelers or pairs!

Summary: It's owned by an old man and his family, and they are very sweet and friendly. I had a big luggage with me, and he helped me carry it all the way to the 3rd floor. On the way out, his wife helped me bring it down. Even when I came back late, there was always someone available to open the door. It's near the china town of dublin, and I loved that so much cause I was having my dinners there every night. It's also just a 20 min walk from the center. Would stay there again if i am in Dublin.

Summary: Jerry and his daughter, Olga, are the consummate hosts! Personable and knowledgeable, they were the BEST! The property is extremely well maintained and so clean. The location is a short walk to the city center. We loved staying at Dergvale, and would stay there again!
