Summary: The place was clean, and mostly looked pretty new. The one appliance that seemed a bit older was the air conditioner. It didn't do a great job the first night. I checked the filter on day two. It hadn't been cleaned recently. After remedying that, the AC was fine, even cooling the front room with the help of the box fan provided. The bed was equipped with a plastic sheet under the fitted sheet. Not great for comfort. There are better options for keeping a mattress dry. Also, if you like sleeping past dawn, you'll want to bring a sleep mask. The thin curtains barely dimmed the desert sun. All-in-all, a comfortable stay in a good location for a reasonable fee.

Summary: Desert Bloom is a jewel in Marathon. It's is a pefect size for 2-3 people with all the accomodations to make a perfect stay. Beautifully devorated and very cean.

Summary: It was a cold night and the heating system was inadequate . There were no extra blankets so had to sleep in my down jacket and vest to stay warm because the single heating unit wasn’t enough. It made for an unpleasant sleeping experience. I wouldn’t stay there again in cold weather because of it. A few more blankets would have made all the difference. Other than that, the place was clean and very comfortable. Suggest coffee upgrades too. What was there in the French roast category wasn’t drinkable.

Summary: We needed a place to crash between MAF airport and Big Bend. We arrived after 10pm and headed out early, so we wanted it simple, and this was simpler and easier than any hotel stay we've done. This little home was easy to find. We just walked in to a cozy, warm (on this cold winter night) clean tiny house. There was everything we needed to clean up. Perfect for a couple. I could see staying there for longer as a base camp - very comfortable.

Summary: Interior was larger than looked from outside- very clean, well stocked. Close to our music event in Marathon (Gage Hotel complex) and to Alpine for shopping and new museum addition.
