Located four houses from the sandy beach, this completely renovated cottage offers a classic Fire Island experience with a chance to get away from the noise and hustle of day-to-day life. While here, check out Fire Island SUP Co. - a one-stop shop for watersports lessons as well as parasailing, paddleboard, and tubing rentals. Spend a hot summer's day at the Sunken Forest, about two miles east, and enjoy some shade and take a ranger-led walk through the trees, and then spend an evening filling up on delicious food at one of the many nearby restaurants. And after a gorgeous day on the sand, walk over to Hideaway for dinner and drinks on the bay.
After a fun day out and about, rinse off any residual sand in the outdoor shower and return to a relaxing and serene hideaway. The designer interior features an open-concept living space illuminated by abundant natural lighting. Enjoy the coolness of the central air-conditioning as you lounge comfortably on the new furniture to watch your favorite streaming service on the TV there. A bonus flex space features gorgeous custom built-in seating and a table perfect for remote work.
The group chef will adore the newly renovated and spacious kitchen, as well as its new appliances. Keep the chef company at the center island, then gather for memorable meals in the stylish dining room. Better yet, take the food to the furnished deck and dine alfresco as you gaze at the nearby greenery. As your day winds a close, take refuge in one of the plush beds. The primary suite is especially enticing, in large part thanks to the brand-new ensuite, which features a roomy walk-in shower.

Summary: The house/location was perfect for a weekend getaway for my family! Quick bike ride to the main town area and was super clean and beds were very comfortable. Definitely would stay again!

Summary: Overall fantastic stay. It could be a bit cleaner. We had sand in the beds and glasses/dishes were partly dirty. But the house is fantastic. Modern and close to the beach.

Summary: Coming from California we so love the laid back vibe of Ocean Bay Park. Everything is close by and no cars! The house was perfect for our annual trip. Lots of towels, comfy beds, a beautiful kitchen for fixing family dinners and breakfast in. Would definitely rent again.

Summary: I had a wonderful time on Ocean Bay Park with my college children. A beautiful beautiful couple of days before everyone to do their own things. The house was perfectly located not too far from the ferry and very close to the beach. The local vaCasa team at Fire Island was very attentive. Cassie made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, even helping us get another bike! Thanks Vacasa- we will definitely be back!

Summary: This home is perfect!! I could seriously live here forever!!! 3 houses from the beach and so well equipped!!! Tons of towels, blankets, complimentary soaps, shampoo, detergent, beach chairs, toys - I could keep going. It’s a dream home!! The style is beautiful - so much space to hang out outside and inside. The outdoor shower was my favorite!! The sun was beating in, you could see the sky and you could hear the waves. Amazing!!!!! We’ll be back!!!!!!

Summary: The home exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated, very very clean, great beds and linens, roomier than expected. The only issue was not with the house, but with the management company. They gave the wrong code to enter and we had to wait for the on site manager to give us the code. The next day they gave the wrong for bike locks and we once again had to wait for the manager to come to fix the issue. Having updated and correct information provided should be high on Vacasa’s priority list. So the -1 star is for them. The house was a 5 star rental.

Summary: This is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for an upscale, updated yet homey quaint cottage. With all the brand new appliances and amenities and crisp linens only steps from the ocean, we could not ask for more. It even had new a/c and heating individual wall units in each bedroom and the main living area. The outdoor shower had amazing water pressure and was a little slice of heaven after a long day at the ocean/beach. It was a perfect stay for our little family get away!
