Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The family which owns the place is extremely friendly and helpful. They took us in like family and showed us around the area and their home. The location was breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere was super relaxing. The view from the room was like a movie, and from the rooftop terrace you can see the sunset. We got breakfast and dinner every day and it was the best food we have ever had. We stayed two more nights because it was just so wonderful. We already made plans to come back again! We definitely recommend this hotel and are looking forward to staying here again soon! I can’t thank this family enough of how good they were to us. We already miss them!

Positive: The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for taking a break from daily life. Surrounding rice fields, villa covered by palm trees and countless variance of birds is simply amazing. The room is spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Huge window view in front of the bed makes your morning even better. For meals, they are very delicious — you can get Sri Lankan dishes preparedby host, Vinishia. Everything is freshly prepared and really tasty. Having a breakfast in the treehouse with fruit from the garden was pure experience. The villa has also a rooftop area where you can enjoy the view to mountains or just a peaceful evening under palm trees with fireflies flying around. Vinishia, Lasantha and their family are so kind and welcoming people. Glad to meet them. They make our visit to Sri Lanka unforgettable. Overall, Diamond Mount Villa is a hidden diamond in heart of Sri Lanka — relaxing, comfortable, and highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet getaway from daily life and rush or just a place to relax. Happy to comeback here again ♥️

Positive: Very nice place in calm area outside of busy Dambulla. Great room with beautiful views, good food, super nice and helpful owners that really care. If you are looking for atmospheric and calm place, it's amazing. All in a very decent price.

Positive: We had some of our favourite days in sri lanka here! The family are super warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we had a great time, cooking delicious and generous homemade meals, picking us homegrown fruits to try and sharing laughs :) The room is really airy and spacious, nice big bed and the view from the room and balcony of the mountain is absolutely stunning! You see so many birds as well its lovely to just sit there. It's a perfect stop off point between dambulla and Kandy. Lovely lake walk right on the doorstep woth some ancient ruins and a mountain. The location is so calm and peaceful.

Also, the owner and his wife were a very kind and friendly couple to us... The food was also very delicious.. We ate until we were full. Positive: I had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at Diamond Mount Villa. The mountain view was beautiful, and the natural surroundings were truly amazing. I especially enjoyed the beauty of the house on the tamarind tree, along with seeing peacocks and herons. Waking up to birds made the whole experience very calm and refreshing. The bicycle ride along the lakeside was peaceful and relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and well prepared. Overall, this is a quiet, nature-filled place perfect for relaxation. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Diamond Mount Villa.❤️
