Positive: Diego is very good and helpful friend and did a lot for us to have nice rest. The apartment has strategic location to visit all nearby locations (Etna, Aci Castello, Aci Realle, Taormina etc), not directly in the town, but in quit and peaceful place, without noise at night. The apartment is fully equipped, with comfortable beds. Kitchen has all necessary staff to prepare food. From all windows and balconies open nice sea view. Lots of private parking space outside.

Positive: Quiet, calm place. Very close to the equipped beach. Friendly, open hostess. Comfortable bed. Cozy balcony with a table for breakfast. There is a free parking. Air conditioning.

Negative: Very steep entrance to the parking lot (you can scratch the bottom of your car, but the residents scratch it themselves).

Positive: Since it was an apartment, no breakfast, but Diego did put water, and sand which foods in the fridge along with fruit. He was always available to answer questions and was extremely helpful with food suggestions.

Negative: Nothing really, everything was up to par, there were no toiletries, but we knew that when renting, however the washer did come in handy so that was a bonus.

Summary: Perfect location to do everything in and outside of Catania!

Positive: I spent nearly 3 weeks at Deigos while working in Catania. It's a very large spacious apartment thats well equipped with all facilities and was very clean when I moved in. There's lots of interesting art on the walls and even some house plants to look after. Because of the design the main room is vert bright and airy and I enjoyed having my breakfast on the balcony looking out at the sea. There are two large bedrooms and a comfortable sofa bed which was very useful when I had some guests come to stay. Location wise it's great as within easy walking of Aci Castello and a supermarket and free parking available inside or nearby on the steet

Negative: Being so close to the sea there were a few mosquitoes about. Maybe an extra floor lamp over by the sofa would be useful

Summary: A great apartment and definitely well worth checking it out
