The Dijkstra house is nestled on the side of Mount Agassiz in the heart of the White Mountains on 7 acres. The house, designed by Dutch architect Tjeerd Dijkstra, is a modern post and beam construction. It features large windows giving an expansive view of the valley and surrounding mountains.
On the first floor there is a large living room with a brick fireplace, 46 inch TV and cathedral ceiling; a fully equipped modern kitchen featuring high quality amenities including an induction stove; microwave, wall oven, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The house is also equipped with a workshop, Wifi, a mud room with washer and dryer, large deck with child safety rails, outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill.
On the 2nd floor are four bedrooms: one featuring a king size bed, one two twin size beds and sink, one a twin size bunk bed and sink. and a smaller fourth bedroom best suited for a child/teenager.

Summary: This is my third time staying at this property and it was just as amazing! The cleanliness of the property was immaculate. Location is perfect for me, which is why I have atayed here three times. I was comfortable, had everything I could possibly need or want on site and the property owners are very communicative and responaive to any needs. Since I last stayed, they have even upgraded several appliances. It was a perfect stay and I will definitely book again!

Summary: This was my second time staying at this property. I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It was clean, beautiful, had amazing views, and a great location. Location. My family and I had the best vacation ever. I would highly recommend this house as it is located in the middle of all the major attractions. It is comfortable, extremely clean and the host is wonderful. I have absolutely nothing negative to say whatsoever.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Dikjstra House. Close to hikes and town, but quiet and private. The view is the star and the living room and deck take full advantage. Comfortable, with all conveniences - felt like a welcoming home rather than the cold, generic feeling of some rentals. Window A/Cs came in handy during our stay in 90 degree heat, but don’t imagine that is a frequent problem. Would happily stay again!

Summary: Beautiful surroundings and convenient location. The dirt road to the property is very rough and steep in places, I might be hesitant to drive on it in the winter in my small FWD car.

Summary: The location and view were amazing! Beautiful home. Jenn was easy to get in touch with and genuinely concerned about my stay. Such a nice person! I parked my car on Friday when I got there and did not get back in it til I had to leave! I will go back again for sure.

Summary: Floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views, spacious open plan living area, and a perfect base for exploring Franconia Notch and the surrounding area. Kitchen was particularly well-equipped, all linens were provided, and the provision of basics like paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap and hand soap was appreciated. Our family of three didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay! Highly recommend.

Summary: This house was amazing! The pictures don't even do it justice. It was an amazing space for a family vacation. The main area is open and large.. There was a cute kids area with some toys and games that my kids flocked to. Furniture was comfortable and cozy and there was a huge picture window with an amazing mountain view. Deck was also georgous and equipped with BBQ which we enjoyed. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and my kids loved the loft beds. The house was meticulously clean and comfortable. House was stocked with anything you could need or want. Netflix was included on TVs. Jenn was excellent and available for all questions we had. The location was really good and right in the middle of all of the activities we were doing. There was even a good resturant and a small grocery store less than 5 minutes away. House is on a private road and it feels super private. Ample parking spaces and laundry amenities too. I will definatly stay again at this property and recommend to anyone else as well.
