Positive: This is an absolutely lovely spot -- close to Corbridge and Hexham, steps away from Dilston Physic Garden (do visit!). Quiet, comfortable, with the kind of rustic charm you imagine an old mill might have! It was quite cold when we stayed there so did not have much time to sit outside by the river, but must be glorious in the summer/warmer months.

Positive: The host was helpful and considerate. She showed us around the property properly and left a 'welcome pack' of food and drink so we didn't have to go looking for a shop straight away.
