Positive: A nice, cozy, and clean apartment on the main square with many bars and restaurants. We thought it would be noisy in the evening, but after 10 o'clock everything became quiet, and nothing stopped us from relaxing. Good value for the money.
Negative: The check-in process might be organized better. I didn't receive any instructions until I asked about it via messenger. If you are uncomfortable sleeping on a mattress that is too soft, then this may be a problem. There were also not enough dishes to cook.

Positive: There are two apartments, this is for the one called Deslina, which has, as you enter, a room with a sofa, big TV screen, a small table and a kitchenette (decently equipped), and an additional spacious bedroom with spacious wardrobe (so we were able to keep our room nice and tidy during our stay), a small balcony facing the main town square (some might see this as an issue, but not us). For 2 people this space was perfect, and we liked the location (and watching the square, with a glass of wine in the evening). It was quiet at night (good soundproof windows), and the balcony door had mosquito net (a rarity in Crete). The host was very accommodating and flexible to meet our needs, the cleaning laddies (whom we met at check-in) friendly and sweet. Everything was sparkling clean!
Negative: It would be good to put a mosquito net also at the bathroom window, the shower would soon need a new switch (the current one still works but keeps coming off, so probably won't last very long), and an internet signal boost in the apartment (a tip - the internet is better outside, on the terrace at the end of the stairs, I had a work call there just fine). However, these are not major issues, just some recommendations that I'm confident that can be addressed before the start of the next season.

Positive: I stayed in Dimitra Apartment - Location is right on the square where there is lots of restaurants & Bars. Supermarket is across the road & it's less than a 5 minute walk to beach or Riverside. There's a modern Kitchen with everything you would need, modern bathroom with great shower. Lounge with TV & sofa bed with balcony that overlooks the side streets. Another Balcony off the bedroom which looks all over the square & fountains. I liked to sit out with a glass of wine when I came back at night. Although the square was busy it wasn't noisy once the doors were shut it went quiet. Stavroula & Costa were brilliant with me & made me so welcome they are both such lovely hosts. I would definitely go back here to stay & recommend this apartment it's in a gorgeous area of Crete & wish I was still there.

Positive: The property was clean and in a great location, just a short walk away from the beach.
Negative: There was a third of a roll of toilet roll provided which didn’t last 5 minutes. The shower needs attention as it leaks and sprays everywhere making it difficult to shower. No cleaning products or broom in the room to sweep the floor for the sand etc. Also the fridge wasn’t cold and the freezer defrosted everywhere. My husband had to look at it and sort it out so we could keep cold bottles of water in it. The latches on the doors are loose or broken. We are a family of 4 and there wasn’t adequate bedding provided for the Sofa bed. Also no hot tub as advertised! WiFi was only available for the first half day then there was none.
Summary: Very average accommodation that needs attention. But great location.

Negative: Kitchen really small. Shower didn't work great. Catch on bedroom shutters broken so light enters room from dawn. Description wasn't accurate. Ad mentions hot tub and slippers etc which weren't there. No olive oil.One toilet roll!

Positive: Unfortunately I didn’t like the accommodation as it was quite cramped and air con didn’t work in bedroom. Kitchen air works well. I stayed somewhere else for the week because it wasn’t what I was expecting. I paid for the accommodation but never stayed there. I’m trying to be as polite as possible.
Negative: Bedroom air conditioner needs to be replaced with a working unit. Very dingy not enough light. As I said very basic. If you don’t intend to be in the apartment you may be happy.
