What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: First room we were given was in the old part of the hotel and it was small and in need of modernisation. We were disappointed as we’d paid €586 for 2 nights B&B for our wedding anniversary and it didn’t justify the price. However after speaking to reception we were given a much bigger junior suite room for our 2nd night which we were happier with. The restaurant food was very good for dinner and the waiting staff were great. Great views of Dingle Bay from the modern restaurant. 10min walk into Dingle which was a great place to explore.

Summary: The sheets were rougher than I knew was possible. Basic room doesn't even include air conditioning but still costs €350. Wild.

Summary: A lukewarm welcome at reception. Bedroom felt very tired and needed a serious upgrade. Carpets looked like they were from the 1970s. Food was good quality and staff in restaurant were friendly. Biggest criticism is that the price does not reflect the overall experience. £180-200 per night would have been a fair price.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at the Skellig Hotel in Dingle. The staff were excellent—attentive in all the right ways—and the breakfast was genuinely impressive with a view of the blind harbour each morning. Our room also had a great view and small patio with chairs and table where we could sit and have a cup of coffee in the evenings. It was an easy and short walk to Dingle, which made it easy to explore the area without the parking headache. Plenty of on site parking for residents, and no fee for parking.

Summary: Clean and comfortable, good breakfast and restaurants. Had two very talented and entertaining guys playing guitars and singing a mix of Irish and popular songs. Location was a bit outside of the main town but still quite walkable.
