Newly renovated, 2nd Floor Master Suite with King Bed, Day Bed, and brand new large bathroom and balcony overlooking the property. Relax at the lakeside fire pit and lounge chairs or eat dinner on the back deck all while enjoying the spectacular views of Great Sacandaga Lake.
We're nestled right across from Sand Island and the widest part of the Lake. Only 40 minutes to Lake George Village and 30 Minutes to Saratoga Springs. Bring your own water toys to launch right from the property or use the 2 provided Kayaks.
Close to lake beaches, golf, hiking, ski resorts, and snow mobile trails. The Broadablin Boat launch is right around the corner!
With some of the best summer and winter fishing, the GSL is home to many tournaments. During the Summer you'll see wave runners, fishing boats, pontoons and all types of watercraft cruising on the lake. We're especially lucky that we're so close to Sand Island and have a wonderful space and location in which to kayak and paddle board. During the winter the lake is full of ice fishing shacks, quads, and snow mobiles. Every day we spend at this house and on the lake feels like we're experiencing it for the first time.
* Please note that the water level in the GSL is not the same throughout the seasons. The beach and water level is determined by rain and the regulating district which controls the water in the GSL. This allows for every visit to be unique and ensures the water in the lake is constantly being replaced.

Summary: The beach was a huge hit for my kiddos. The chairs and kayaks were a plus as well! Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed the property very much!

Summary: We meet every year together, somewhere. This house was perfect for what we needed. We utilized the kayaks and fished, made s’mores at the fire pit, rented a pontoon from Family Boat Rental, and relaxed for the week. The kids utilized the large grass yard, and we cooked on the grill almost every night. The only recommendation I have for anyone renting here is bring extra towels! We got caught in the rain and without laundry got stuck with no dry towels as ours were hanging on the deck to dry from the day before. Communication was great and we found a close laundromat in Galway. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Nice clean fully stocked home. Relaxing private beach with kayaks and a cool island within reach. Small town with tons of icecream options!!! Museum, animal park and mountain climbing near by. We did it all and so much to accommodate our family ages 12-81!

Summary: Easy to get to, lots of parking with motion lights to get inside at dark. House was nice as listed and everything worked. Short walk to private sandybeach that had chairs, lounges, tables and firepit at the waters edge.

Summary: We rented this house on the lake while attending my grandson's graduation in Ballston Lake. The house and property was beautiful and exactly as described on VRBO. Everything was spotless and the entire house was very well appointed and even had some extra perks such as phone chargers, bug bands, batteries, and plenty of board games. We spent as much time as possible outside at the water and used the fire pit and kayaks several times. The property manager was delightful, friendly, and very attentive and we could reach her any time. We had a wonderful time and only wish we had more time to spend at the property as well as taken the good weather back to Austin, TX with us. We will definitely rent this house again if we visit the area in the future.

Summary: Pay attention to the listing--the entire bottom floor is locked off so you will not have laundry. Otherwise, great house and nice property. Fabulous lake. Clean inside and many board games. Plenty of soap and other small amenities to use. Just don't plan on doing your laundry!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this VRBO. It was rainy on the day we planned to invite family over for a BBQ but someone brought a pop-up and we all had a great time. The kitchen has everything and is great for cooking. We had some issues with the BBQ but the owers' rep was more than helpful and responsive. There was plenty of room to relax and the beach front was beautiful.

Summary: Our group of 10 had a great stay at Terrence’s place. The private beach with kayaks and SUPs was so nice, a great place to relax and enjoy the water. We had a lot of questions and Shianne, the property manager, was super responsive and helpful, a real pleasure to work with. We did add in the extra cabin and are glad we did as it gave us plenty of space for our group. Overall a great trip!
