The one-room apartment, optimally furnished for two people, has a comfortable double bed (1.40 mx 2 m) and oversized bed linen (1.55 mx 2.20 m). In the sleeping alcove, next to the bed, there is a spacious closet for storing your clothes. A sofa bed, which can be used as a couch or pulled out as an extra bed, is located behind a movable bookshelf, which is equipped both with German fiction and with plenty of information about Lüneburg, its history and its surroundings. The living area consists of this same sofa, a comfortable armchair and offers the view of the countryside or on a modern flat screen TV. Telephone, fast internet and w-lan are available. Thanks to opaque curtains, the room can be darkened if necessary. The fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven with grill, microwave, extractor hood, dishwasher, refrigerator with 3 * compartment, coffee maker, kettle, a work surface made of satin Ivory natural stone, extra-deep sink and plentiful dishes leave nothing to be desired. If you should miss something, let us know and we'll do our best to make sure that you feel comfortable.
The inviting dinette is stocked with a shesham teak table and two wicker chairs, completing the living area. From there you look out onto the loggia and into the Clamartpark. In warm weather, the covered balcony invites you to linger.
The wood-tiled floor in the living area can be heated electrically in addition to the central heating. This luxury is also available in the bathroom. Here is also a rain forest shower in the shower area with a heated (!), tiled seating. The toilet lid closes automatically and quietly.
A lift will take you from the third - the top floor - to the exits towards Clamartpark or Kalandstraße. Only a hundred meters and they are at one of the central points of Lüneburg, 'Am Sande'. From there you can take many buses in all directions of the area. A lockable shared bicycle room is available. This bike room can also be used by you. If it pulls you to the water, there is about 200m away in summer a welcoming beer garden on the Ilmenau ('Schröder's garden'). There you can rent pedal boats, paddle boats or rowing boats. Both in warm temperatures and in the colder months attracts the old port 'Am Stintmarkt' with its historic ambience and a variety of pubs and restaurants.

Summary: Wonderful studio on the 4th floor (3rd in Germany) with a spacious balcony facing a park. Efficient little kitchen and dining space, living space, a very comfortable full-size bed and a fine, clean bathroom. Harald is very accommodating and responsive. Great location, too.

Summary: The apartment was clean, comfortable and warmy. Harald is an excellent host. Upon my arrival he even came and picked me up from the train station. I travelled for work to the hospital, which was only 15 minutes walk away from the apartment. The apartment is also next to the city center that gave me the opportunity for everyday walks!

Summary: We booked this apartment for my parents while they visited us from New Zealand. It was a semi long-term stay. The apartment was very clean and modern and had everything my parents needed to feel at home. The apartment was very well equipped. The location couldn't be better (right in the middle of old-town Lüneburg) and my parents could simply go everywhere by foot! Harald (the host) was very accommodating, friendly and very communicative. My parents cant wait to come back. We highly recommend!

Summary: I stayed for 2 weeks in the apartment while working in the hospital in Luneburg. It was a perfect stay. Harold was an amazing host, he even picked me up from a train station 35 minutes away when I was lost in the beginning of my journey. He then took me to the local supermarket when I arrived as he knew I would not be familiar with the city and Germany. I could not imagine a better host. The apartment was very clean and all of the amenities were exactly as listed. It was quite comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony for sipping coffee in the winter. The location is perfect, I was able to walk to the supermarket that borders the apartment for ingredients whenever needed. I was also able to walk the entire city each day from the apartment within 5-10 minutes, whatever shop or restaurant I wanted to go to was within walking distance. I used the kitchen often and it was great. I could not have better things to say about the apartment and Harold as a host, when I return to Luneburg this is the only place I will be staying

Summary: The property was very well equipped, very comfortable and very convenient for the city centre and for the Stintmarkt - great beer! We would have loved to stay longer and would certainly be happy to stay at the property again if we were fortunate enough to come back for longer visit.

Summary: This is a beautifully maintained apartment, in the best possible location (just one block from Am Sande), in lovely Lüneburg, Germany. The owners, Harald and Sigrid, are absolutely the best hosts for your short- or long-term stay. They made me feel at home from the very first day, when I arrived late from Hamburg, and they had dinner waiting in the fridge. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, plates, and everything you might need. The bathroom has heated floors! The apartment is cozy and has a nice park view. The bed is very comfortable; linens and furniture are of excellent quality. The apartment is comfortable and everything works well. I've travelled all over and this was the best experience I've had with a rental. It was a treat to stay here for 3 weeks. Don't miss this gem in Lüneburg!
