Summary: I booked to stay here with my nan for the weekend to explore Scotland as a base. Lovely property clean and homely and very spacious, and included WiFi which annoyingly didn't work, was not to much of an issue with us as we didn't use it much as was out and about but the area didn't have good 4G so would have been nice to have this . Amanda and her husband attended site to fix but didn't work. Explained they included WiFi to make experience better for guests. Would stay again but personally I would remove WiFi adverts then it would be classes as a bonus and not expected by other guests.

Summary: We stayed for 3 nights and everything was fantastic. We had a problem with the TV as unbeknown to us, the aerial had come out the back of TV but the owners were on the phone within minutes helping us. Very clean with lovely decor and great supplies. Only couple of recommendations would be that the 4G dongle doesn’t really provide enough coverage for streaming movies so maybe a DVD with a collection of films might be useful as you can’t really make use of the smart TV apps, like Netflix as signal too poor. The owners did also provide some games which was fantastic! Then other would be possibly a gate on the decking to keep the dog safe but we just blocked it off with chairs so wasn’t an issue. We had a fantastic stay, visited Keswick and Talkin Tarn which is great too! Thank you for our stay and we will surely be back.
