This cozy log cabin is located on the Swan River nestled between the Swan Mountain Range and Mission Mountain Wilderness at mile post 42 on MT Hwy 83. It has a full furnished kitchen. The living space is small and therefore works great for 2 singles. There are 2 bedrooms (both queens) and there is a covered porch with a glider chair. You can enjoy beautiful views, a BBQ or camp fire behind the cabin. Hiking trails and lakes are nearby and if your interested in a day trip, Glacier National Park is100 miles away. This is a perfect location for family reunions, weddings, hunting parties, etc. when combining your reservation with our other cabins, camp sites, R.V. spots, river site and community hall reservations. Swan Valley Cafe located across the highway is available for event catering as well. Missoula and Kalispell airports are both about an hour drive away.

Summary: Very tiny log cabin with only room to turn around. Both bedrooms have nothing but the bed up against the wall and a small nightstand. The beds were NOT comfortable and dip in the center. It definitely needs some major updates. If all you want is a place to lay your head over night, it will work for you. Photos are accurate but make it appear much larger than it actually is.

Summary: Great location for a few days at Holland Lake. Very quiet at night. The beds were not great and need an update. The towels were super old and thin - wouldn’t take much to fix that. But honestly it was fine for us, cool cabin, and still had a great vacation. Worth the location and Hungry Bear down the way has great food!

Summary: Darling cabin & great hospitality! I’d love to give it 5 stars, but the mattresses on both beds were awful! My daughter‘s mattress sunk in the center and mine was as hard as a rock.
