3 Bedroom Cabin in Morganton

Tucked down a private drive in the woods of the Blue Ridge mountains is the serene LaVista. Drive down southern country roads through Morganton, turn right at the giant willow tree, and wind your way to this private cabin set on four acres with views of the lower Appalachian mountains from every bedroom. 3 porches + two screened (one private to upstairs bedroom!). Two living rooms with their own fireplaces & TVs, plus a hot tub for 6! 3 bedrooms w their own separate bathrooms (1 per level).
Morganton is a cute little town about 10 minutes from downtown blue ridge. You can explore everything Main Street on Blue Ridge has to offer, plus the charms of Morganton like the local Grill, Nomad Market (serving breakfast and lunch 8-2 every day but Sunday), or Bargain Trading Post.

Summary: We can’t wait to return. This rental is well-stocked and incredibly peaceful. The view is outrageous, so be prepared to spend 90% of your time on the scenic screened porch. The jacuzzi is high-end and super clean. There is a beautiful patio with fire pit that isn’t in the listing or photos, and it was a gorgeous surprise (however we didn’t bring firewood because it wasn’t in the listing or photos). As a teacher of small children who just began her summer vacation, I can’t think of a more convenient and serene spot.

Summary: We loved the cabin. The details of the cute mugs and the log furniture made I wish we were staying during the winter. One thing to note is that the a/c (if you are going during the summer) works best on the main level but will struggle to keep up if it's hot outside. The basement will be frigid and the upstairs Master will be warm (like 75-77 degrees even with the a/c set to 68).
