Summary: We were pleased with our stay. The property was in a good location and a good size. I did think it could do with a bit of redecoration/touch up, most of the walls/picture frames had at least one chip/dent in. We also couldnt find the bins. Other than that we had a positive experience. Thanks

Summary: The location of this property is very rural and offers excellent opportunities for walks. The property has the potential to be amazing but feels unloved at the moment. The staircase has patches of plaster missing; the heating wasn't operational, some small plug in radiators were provided which weren't sufficient for the property size (thankfully it was mild weather when we stayed) and the main bin hadn't been emptied for weeks which wasn't surprising as there were no details in the property as to where the bins should be placed and the schedule for collection was a couple of years out of date. On the whole the cleanliness of the property was super - beautifully made, comfortable beds with no dust underneath! We missed there being a coffee table in the lounge and the storage in the bedrooms is scant. I don't want this to be a totally negative review - we had a lovely time touring the Cotswolds and loved the walks from the cottage. The local chip shop and Chinese take away were pretty good and the Harcourt Arms in Stanton Harcourt (about 5 minutes away in the car) is a beautiful pub and provides a gorgeous Sunday roast.

Summary: Cottage is in a truly wonderful position. Quiet and with beautiful, idyllic walks from outside the front door. Bedrooms are sweet; downstairs things are a bit sparse but comfortable. A few things were broken which are small but need fixing: the coffee machine, a blind in the bathroom, one of the drawers in the dishwasher, the light switch in the dining room and a dining room chair whose seat came off and I trapped my finger under it.

Summary: We arrived at about 5.30 to the property sadly the cleaners hadn’t turned up so the property hadn’t been cleaned and beds not changed. We called the owner and within mins they arrived to clean the property, we went out to leave them to it. The owner was most apologetic and left a bottle of bubbles. When we returned the property smelt so much better and all beds were changed, bathroom cleaned. We had a birthday celebration for our daughter and cleaned up the confetti as best we could. We’ve stayed at the other property and returned as we love the location so much. I have two daughters and the one thing I would say is there’s no long mirrors and only one small mirror in the house this was a little difficult when both getting ready, small issue but significant for young ladies

Summary: We stayed for 4 days over October half term. The cottage is lovely and worked perfectly for us with our teenage son and my Dad and dog. We used the cottage as a base driving to different villages throughout the Cotswolds each day. The cottage was fully equipped to cater for our needs cooking as required and in range for local delivery drivers. We awoke one morning to find a young deer in the garden!

Summary: Unfortunately the property does not look how it does in the pictures. It was pretty filthy throughout and in desperate need of a lick of paint. Some of our issues included mould around the shower, dirty marks on the bedlinen, dead flies squash to the ceiling and an unclean toilet to name a few. There he’s also a light outside which we couldn’t get working which is extremely dangerous given that the property is down a dirt track with no other lighting. We had to use our phones to get from our car to the property. In desperate need of a decent cleaner and some maintenance works.

Summary: Really enjoyed our time at meadow cottage. As you drive down the lane you are presented with a beautiful cottage with a stunning back drop. The location is incredible and it really feels like you are in the middle of nowhere away from it all. There is plenty of surrounding countryside to explore and the play park was a welcome edition for our children. A major highlight was how comfy the beds were and we all slept very well during our stay. We would definitely come back and plan to do so in the near future.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in Meadow Cottage, which is located in the beautiful countryside close to Oxford and the Cotswolds. The cottage is lovely decorated and has all the amenities and excellent beds. Small detail is that if you're over 170 cms the showerhead is a tad low. Would definately recommend for a stay.
