Summary: Overall, I was very happy with our stay at divided sky. There are really one two complaints that I have, and neither would keep me from staying here again...But we did have a difficult regulating the temperature of the house. The first night. It was 59° downstairs and we could not get it any warmer, meanwhile, the second and third floors were 77°. In the morning, we noticed that the ac unit was completely frozen. Then the whole house got very warm and we couldn't cool it. Some instructions on how to use the air system would have been nice. Second, none of the furniture it very comfortable. There is a sofa that is fine, but for a house that sleeps 14, it is far too small to accommodate everyone....and none of the beds are incredibly comfortable, either. But the area is gorgeous. The yard was nice for my children to play. On our last night, the trash container was most certainly visited by bears as the wood around it was all scratched up and there were very large muddy paw prints on the outside.

Summary: Our family had an enjoyable experience staying at this property in the Deep Creek Lake area. Lovely view of the forest with great layout for family and just 15 minutes from a few beautiful state parks. However, having a handyman come to repair a few items would bump our stay to 5 stars as there were some minor annoyances with basic features. Items needing repair/attention -broken towel bar in main floor bathroom -broken trash can hinge -downstairs outdoor lights were not working -mattresses and pillows need a refresh. Too firm mattresses and pillows need to be replaced.

Summary: The 3 families in our group enjoyed our stay at Divided Sky for Thanksgiving 2019. Loved the jacuzzi tub in the master, hanging out in the hot tub, warming up by an outside fire, playing on the play set outside, watching movies on Netflix and Disney+, and playing pool. Some opportunities for improvement are fixing/ replacing the trash can in the kitchen as it kept getting disengaged from the foot pedal to open the lid, better cleaning upstairs as there were 6+ dead flies all over the floor in the master that we had to sweep up when we first arrived, and fixing the WiFi password on the fridge as it had dashes listed when there aren’t any dashes in the password. Overall we would likely stay there again.

Also a mirror in every room would be helpful so people don't have to share the bathroom while getting ready. Overall, Divided Sky was a gorgeous property and we would stay again!
