Summary: Peaceful sunset facing location. Short ride to Meredith and Squam Lake area. Nice dock for boats and area to launch kayaks and canoes. Home is nice overall and was clean. Furnishings are a bit dated which is common for area rentals.

Summary: Location on lake was awesome. Home had an odor had to spray with Lysol and keep windows open , glad weather permitted. First bathroom cabinet should have had lock ,inside was pretty filthy. Think should be upgraded , second bathroom was fine though with tub. Sheet on queen bed was not changed had debris at end of bed . Cleaning company needs to change after each guest and kitchen counters had brown specks had to clean kitchen counters myself . I would stay again on off season pricing expecting better quality home . The location is really nice and guess if don’t care about inside of home quality then a great place.

Summary: I loved dealing with VRBO directly and with the host but since you or host (?) has added Vacasa as property management I am extremely hesitant to use again in the future. To start, I had to cancel my original reservation and reschedule to later dates which was an extremely painful process. Note that I started the process to reschedule was done in March. First they told me the week I chose was available, but wait, no it wasn't. I went back and forth until I was able to find only four nights. I had questions for the host and I believe on your site you "think" you're messaging the host but really, it's Vacasa. Then literally a week or two before my vacation, they told me that the " pet friendly cottage" wasn't pet friendly after all?? What the heck?? Long story short, a public beach close to the property I was staying at was no longer dog friendly, but my cottage still was dog friendly ....very unsettling causing more stress than necessary:( Also, MUCH discrepancy with Vacasa.... an example: The paper info sheet in the cottage said not to strip the beds and "we've got you covered", then the email they sent me the day before checking out said to strip the beds.....what the heck?????? My advice to VRBO....drop Vacasa and find a more user friendly, reliable and overall better property management group!!!!

Summary: Well appointed home (not a cottage) very comfortable and very clean...only missing items - ceramic bowls for food prep and cooking...things in kitchen cupboards placed heater skelter but rearranged in orderly way. Swimming access POOR - shallow a long way out and have to walk on big and small rocks strewn with sticks and deep mushy bottom to swim - no "clean" water access. Access off dock problematic also... great porches - one screened - one open with lake views easy access to downtown Meredith. Could use a couple more "box type" fans - had 2 small ones but in high heat not enough. WIFI password not functional but previous renter left the original wifi info on refrig which worked. Cable TV has NO sports or news channels like MSNBC or CNN. Lake beautiful, clean and quiet..Sunset view.

Summary: The cabin was everything that the two sisters and husbands could want. A place to connect after traveling from different parts of the country. We loved how the cabin was nestled in the pines on the point.Hearing the loons calling was a gift. We enjoyed seeing the eagle daily .We were privileged to see the eagle bring back a fish and eat it while sitting in the tall pine by the dock. The way seating arrangements were created ,around the property , provided solitude or gatherings. We took advantage of the outdoor fireplace . Hearing the crickets , the lapping water, and the crackling fire, brought a sense of serenity. But our all time favorite spot was sitting on the front porch drinking coffee. Each day the mist would roll down the mountain as we over looked the lake. It was magic. Thank you for the opportunity your “Listening Point” gave us.
