Summary: The house was spacious and clean! The home had everything we needed for our weekend there. Lots of firewood provided for the fireplace for the cold evenings and kitchen was well stocked with necessities for cooking dinners.

Summary: We enjoyed our after Christmas getaway in this lovely mountain home. The weather didn’t cooperate, and most days were quite foggy, but we had a wonderful time being together and enjoying the glass enclosed porch.

Summary: We arrived at this property at night, so the initial drive in was a bit intimidating. The street numbers are covered by shrubs so make sure you know what the outside of the home looks like, or you'll miss it. Initial impressions were that the home is exactly as described and the photos accurately represent the property. If you like what you see in the photos, that's what you're getting. This felt like a fantastic step back into our childhood, like we were once again staying at an out-of-town Great Aunt's house. Plenty of family photos from the past, hand-stitched quilts, old furniture, old recipe books, etc. The home was very clean, however one of the downstairs bedrooms did not have fresh sheets upon arrival. This was the only cleaning concern that we found. The home only has one thermostat, which is upstairs, so if you visit in the summer, to keep the upstairs at 74, it's going to be 64 downstairs. You'll need to turn the temp up at night to compensate, layer blankets, or use the space heaters. The sunroom was amazing! When we weren't eating in town, meals were eaten at the sunroom table. Each morning was spent rocking in the sunroom with a cup of coffee, taking in the picturesque view of the nearby mountains. Ellijay is a beautiful little mountain town. We highly recommend eating at "The Roof" and "Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza". There are a few items in the home that are dated and could probably use replacement, but overall we were very pleased with our stay and wish the trip could have been another week longer! We would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: This was an excellent vacation home. There is ample living space and seating if you have a large group. We only used the main floor for the two of us, but there are 2 more bedrooms below and a deck below as well. We absolutely loved the mountain views from the back porch, which is enclosed and completely surrounded with windows. There are two outdoor seating areas on either side of the porch as well. We ate lunch out there and watched the deer in the forest below. It is a quick and scenic drive to Ellijay for restaurants, shops, hiking, and tubing. It was the perfect home base for discovering the beauty of North Georgia.

Summary: My wife and I stayed with two other couples. The first comments when we arrived were that the pictures did not do the property justice. The one feature we all loved was the sun room. It was the gathering place for meals, for quiet times, for morning coffee and tea. The kitchen was well equipped. One concern was the dishes, while beautiful, they were heavy and could be difficult to return to the cabinets for older renters. After heating coffee in the cups, we wondered if they were microwave safe. The handles were too hot to touch even though the coffee was not very hot. The other negative comment from out group is that the shower heads need to be replaced. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
