Summary: We had a great time and have no complaints. There were a lot of off leash dogs in the area and beach but we did not have any of them run up on us and our reactive pup.

Summary: We booked a stay at this property in Oct 2024; off days, Sun-Wed; come to find out many of the shops are closed this part of the week. A few restaurants open. We booked it for the fenced yard for the pups and the hot tub, since I had a recent neck injury I was nursing. Found the hot tub cool and giving us error codes; called/texted Vacasa, and they said they would send someone out-someone came out on day 2, assured us they would notify the hot tub contractor. Never heard from them. No ETA. Called/texted a few times. Since it was raining a lot, we had hoped to just hang at the house and hot tub. While they gave us a small refund, the run-around we got (even declined a later check-out after all of this) with Vacasa was unnacceptable. Indeed this is in a more rural location, the customer service was abysmal. Check-out time is 10am, which is just ridiculous. The house itself was clean, well-appointed. Furniture and carpet need replaced. Kitchen sink with foul smell; suspect the garbage disposal. They gave us a 10-digit door code; really? Why not 4? Tricky to enter. Done with Vacasa. Will not book through them again.

Summary: Cute house. I had my dog and specifically chose this house because of fully fenced in backyard. Good thing, because I had to abandon walking my dog in the immediate area because there were several loose dogs in the area. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. I was surprised that there wasn’t a tv on the main floor. Large sitting area and tv on second floor, but my elderly mother was with me and is unable to walk stairs. Owner very accommodating to dogs. She had several items available for dog owners. Nicely decorated house and I liked that it was at a dead end road.

Summary: Overall the home and location were perfect. However if you have small dogs there are gaps under the fence they could get out of, the pictures definitely make it look bigger than it is but not really problem. really a problem

Summary: This was probably one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve had in a rental really appreciated that and really appreciated having an enclosed yard for my dogs how great to have a hot tub I did not have time to enjoy it but a great amenity Having a game room is great for kids The tv room was really comfortable and the beds and furniture were comfortable Had a couple of challenges with getting connected to the Wi-Fi and never could figure out how to get the first floor shower to work bath tub was fine but not the shower Peaceful quiet area how nice to have a washer and dryer and wood provided for the fire pit very comfortable place I do agree that being asked to launder the towels and linens really defeats the purpose of being on vacation and takes a bit of time especially as check out time is pretty early Thank you for the wonderful stay in Nehalem

Summary: Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to nearby beaches. Comfortable beds and bedding. The fenced yard was perfect for dogs. Not that clean with worn out furniture and appliances. Missing some basic kitchen amenities. The hot tub was gross.

Summary: We rent 3-6 times a year . This rental lacked a few things that make it a better choice than staying at hotels . The overall property needs to be updated . The kitchen lacked a few essentials , a baking dish and tin foil. The seating in the house was old and stained . Overall it can be improved to be a nice place to rent .

Summary: Cute house. Nicely appointed kitchen. No outdoor grill or AC which usually isn’t a problem at the beach but with missing screens and 80 degrees we were glad we brought a fan. It would have been nice if there were fans at the property. No TV downstairs and glad we brought our Bluetooth speaker. Fast internet connection. Needed a car for all trips to the beach and for supplies. Very quiet. Comfy beds. We mostly were talking, reading letters that our parents had written aloud to each other, listening to music from our phones and cooking so it was kind of perfect.
