Summary: The house itself was nice, but as we walked up to the deck there were several branches that had fallen all over the deck, the deck was also dirty. There were many deer walking around, outside of the house, which was very nice to see. The inside was what we were looking for, but we found a dog biscuit on the floor and dog hair on the floors. The most disappointing was the inaccuracy of the description, it said that the house was steps away from a lake and kayaks were provided. Just be aware that the lake is about a mile away and you must go to the property managers other house to get the kayaks. You will also need to tell the property manager that you would like to use the kayaks so he can notify the people staying at the other property. When I said something to the property manager about the description not being accurate with a picture of the description he did not respond. Unfortunately it was too much of a hassle to get the kayaks so we didn’t even bother.

Summary: The people were very friendly and prompt with responses. The home was nice and quiet. The thermostat didn’t work and the grass was knee high, the flooring was not very clean as the previous renters must have had dogs and I was getting dog hair on my feet and clothes. Some of the blinds were broken probably by dogs as it appears and couldn’t get privacy at night with broken blinds. Our overall experience was great and had a much needed pleasant stay at the property along with the deer walking around made it feel Like you were in the woods.

Summary: A great little cabin in the midst of a neighborhood of vacation and full-time homes. Enjoyed the unexpected November snow, the many deer who share the neighborhood, and the warm welcome when we arrived.

Summary: Hubby and I with our 2 dogs enjoyed a relaxing, quiet week over Thanksgiving. The drive to town or the next one over was easy and direct. We had breakfast at the White Haven Diner (bring cash, no cards accepted), dinner once at Jireh Pizza (try the cheesesteak!) and the little market had everything we needed. The cabin was exactly as pictured and very clean. The deer were everywhere and we enjoyed watching them. Thank you again! Joe & Melissa

Summary: This little cabin was just perfect. Love all the wood, and the way it was decorated. Very cozy!! It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in a good location. We had the most fun sitting around the fire pit at night laughing and enjoying family time! Juan, the owner was also great with communicating everything. We will definitely be back!!
