Summary: We stayed here because the boys were going out hunting in the mountains. Us girls wanted to venture to Colorado Springs and Lathrop State Park. We didn't bring dogs and I was a bit nervous the house would smell like dog, because it's a dog friendly home, but it didn't! It was so clean, so roomy, beds were so comfortable. We saw many mule deer around the home which I loved to capture with my camera. The view of Spanish Peek Mountain was amazing to sit out on the deck and drink my coffee. The home owner was so extremely easy to ask questions and responded in a very timely manner. My husband already wants to go back and asked me to save this location to book again! I highly recommend it!

Summary: Fantastic house! Great kitchen and beds. Beautiful stars at night. Close to lots of fun activities, we went to Lanthrop State park and were successful fisher people. Only critique: end of driveway is washed out so there is a big rut and bedrooms and 2 windows in the living room on side facing garage need blinds.

Summary: We so enjoyed our stay at this location. It had everything we needed and more. The home is clean, location is off the beaten path which we loved and it is very pet friendly. I will definitely recommend it to family and friends visiting the area. We ended up bringing a dog at the last minute and the owner allowed us to pay the pet deposit and it all went well.

Summary: Gorgeous views from the front and back decks - great for morning coffee taking in the mountains. Home was off the beaten track - great for that "in the mountains" feeling. Pick up groceries on your way - wonderfully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our stay immensely

Summary: I can’t say enough about how great this house is! It’s perfectly situated to be a base camp for your adventures in the Sangre de Cristos. It’s secluded, but the roads around are maintained and I was able to locate it perfectly. The house is beautiful and had so many little touches to make it feel like home. Big bonus: it has central AC! Comfy living spaces and beds, a great rainfall shower and a sauna. There is even a fenced backyard for your pups. The view from the deck was absolutely stunning. 10/10 will stay again!
