Summary: Me and my husband live in Chicago and were looking for a stay in a quiet area with lots of space outside to play and enjoy the fall. It was the absolute perfect trip with the best hosts you could get. Mark and Julie were so welcoming and created a space for us that was incredibly clean, cozy (and not to mention smelled really good). Mark even offered to help us start a fire outside in the fire pit. We spent our vacation exploring outside with our daughter and our dogs and then coming back to what felt like a home away from home to relax and enjoy some family time together. Thank you!! 10/10 recommend.

Summary: I can’t say enough great things about the hosts and the space. For the first time I actually relaxed and slept better than I did at home! We had everything we could have needed and then some. The hosts thought of everything! They gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants that were fabulous and we ate there multiple times. But if we wanted to we could have cooked and grilled all our own meals as we had everything we needed. 5 star accommodations, we can’t wait to come back again! Lovely property and hosts.

Summary: Me and my family had a great time staying at the property. Juli and her husband were awesome hosts and very accommodating and stayed in touch in case we needed anything. We were also very happy that we were able to bring our dogs. The property was beautiful. The only thing that put a dampener on the trip was the weather because it rained during our whole stay but I would definitely stay again.

Summary: Beautifully maintained space. Was perfect for our family of 3. I would have given it a 5 star but we were a little put off by the owners being on-site, upstairs. Once we got there, I went back through the fine print and its listed...at the bottom. You are able to here them moving around upstairs early in the morning and throughout the day. There is also a LARGE dog on site, separated but still intimidating. My son has fears of crime and strangers so having the owners on site was a tad unsettling for him. He needed CONSTANT reassure that we were ok. The owners were VERY nice people and their basement is gorgeous. I would recommend it if you are ok with these situations. I would have liked the homeowners and dog displayed a little more prominently in the description and not buried at the bottom. Also, super sorry about out nearly 11am checkout. Most are 11am, I didn't realize yours was 10am

Summary: Host has thought of everything. She left snacks out, has spare toiletries, and is very responsive if you need anything. The place is cozy with a separate sliding door entrance after you initially get in. Good location.
