The kitchen will delight the chef of the group with its stainless steel appliances, including a full-size fridge, coffee maker, and even a dishwasher. The high dining table seats up to eight people comfortably.
Right off the kitchen, the screened-in patio offers an incredible seating space and private gas grill. There's no complete vacation without a barbecue and now you'll get to show off your grilling skills. Back inside, you'll also find a bedroom with a flatscreen TV and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a washer/dryer combo. Upstairs, you'll have the other bedroom along with a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and an inviting reading nook.

Summary: this spot had comfy beds and was a 30-45 min drive to everywhere we wanted to be during our visit to acadia. the kitchen had just the very basics, and it would have been nice to have a laundry basket. it felt very much like an income property, but the water from the tap tasted fresh and we were grateful for the clean air.

Summary: First of all, we could not communicate directly with the owner so that was not good. If you arrive in the dark, the house number is not very visible. We drove around a couple of times before spotting the house number. There were no directions as to how to operate the television therefore, we could not watch any sports. There was an issue with the upstairs plumbing. Would not recommend unless better communication is available.

Summary: Location and home was absolutely gorgeous. Favorite part was the screened in porch (though both doors to access outside and grill seemed misaligned. One was difficult to open and the other the lock was broken so you couldn't open). The only recommendation for improvement I would make is to upgrade the comfort of the bed. Mattress was mediocre (with plastic mattress protector similar to a crib mattress), sheets were rough and pillows were flat so made for a bit of uncomfortable sleep after long day hiking.

Summary: We found the property to be quite uncomfortable. The beds, pillows, couch, kitchen table, and chairs. It was clean enough, despite a washer full of dirty towels. Odd layout as well.

Summary: Great cottage on the Quietside of the MDI. Perfect for friends with two separate bedrooms and baths. Wonderful screened in porch where we spent most of our time when we weren't exploring Acadia National Park.

Summary: My family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay this past week! We love being able to drive into busier tourist areas but stay in quieter areas. The screened in porch was our favorite space...we ate meals, played card games, and took in the sounds of nature. We highly recommend staying at the Creek Cottage in Bass Harbor!

Summary: Good location short commute to all attractions, quiet neighborhood, great screened in porch, kitchen was key gathering place, sitting in living room area wasn't great but we were not there to sit in the living room. Entryway was super nice with bench and hooks to hang stuff. All the necessary amenities for what we needed. Acadia was amazing and Bar Harbor very nice little town with a lot to offer. 10-35 minutes to everything Acadia/Bar Harbor
