Summary: The house was beautiful and fit the size of our group perfectly. View was wonderful. Loved the private outdoor shower, very convenient for kiddos. Issues that I would want addressed or to know going in: maggots under outside trash cans and they were full of trash upon arrival. We went to grill and it was so dirty we smoked out the entire neighborhood (a bit exaggerated). We had to put caution tape on the stand alone ice maker due to mold. We couldn’t use refrigerator ice maker because it was down due to filter needing replacement.

Summary: Love the bay views, overall location and place well maintained, however cleaning is not professional by any chance, fishing pier not included as advertised in the website, disappointing fish trip with my kids

Summary: From the balcony I could watch pelicans, herons and tern. I could hear a threatened black rail. Lovely street. Can walk to the fishing pier (although we never could find that key). Home is very nice - great appliances, washer dryer. Comfortable!

Summary: Only problem we had was there was hair strings in the master bed linen and also in the blankets had hair as well not sure if it was dog or human hair. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The AC was great with keeping the home cool. The view was very beautiful. The outside shower was a plus with the warm water. Wi-Fi worked well. Just need a Tv in the master bed. We enjoyed it and will book again.

Summary: This property was perfect for our needs. Great kitchen for our New Years Eve dinner prep and plenty of room for (4) adults to ring in the New Year. Great Deck that showcased the Bay Marsh and Bay. Couple of blocks from Ocean access and far enough away from tourists traffic and clutter.

Summary: We arrived late after dark and were immediately greeted by literally hundreds of mosquitos. Despite having notified them we would be arriving late, there were no porch or outdoor lights on so we fumbled and stumbled around, being chased and bitten by the little buggars all the while. I am sure we looked insane to anyone watching us swat and scamper. We raced inside and managed to only be followed through the door by 25 of them. Now, I grew up in Houston and I know there are times that mosquitoes get out of hand, but I was disappointed to think our enjoyment of the deck and view would be impacted by these unbearable pests. We took a quick look around the place - I will admit it is a lovely home. The pictures are accurate and the place is well appointed. I will mention that there is not any coffee provided - one sad little k-cup sat ready for duty in the cabinet. Thank goodness I'd packed some of our favorite grounds in case of such a circumstance. The kitchen has all the gadgets and pots, plates, and such you'd need but very little else so bring or plan to buy whatever you may want or need while there. My daughter decided on one of the bedrooms and just as she was about to climb into bed, she noticed ants - large fire ants - all over the pillows. (I know ants live in ant beds but this was another thing!) Despite our search, we could not identify their place of origin. Fortunately, the primary and third bedrooms seemed ok. My daugher took the other bedroom and all seemed ok. At this point, it was the wee hours of the morning, and my wife and I had just laid our weary heads on the pillows when "BLEEP!!" The gall-darn smoke detector IN the primary bedroom started chirping. Nary a battery nor ladder to be found, we tried resetting it with a broomstick. It worked for long enough to lull us into a false hope of some sleep. When the chirping continued, we tried calling the property management company. Our exhaustion and frustration mounted as we were hung up on FOUR times! The first time, it sounded like someone accidentally answered the phone and I could hear a casual conversation going on, but no response to my "hello?". Then, disconnected. This repeated itself three more times, though eventually someone did try to speak back - asking for my reservation number. There I was searching through my emails for my reservation number - they waited a few seconds and then just hung up. I couldn't believe it! Finally, on the fifth try, someone different answered and actually spoke to us. He promised us a local property manager would call us back in 10-15 minutes, despite the fact that it was about 2 am at this point. We waited, unsure if someone would just show up or maybe call and then show up or what. "BLEEP!" Anyway, at around 9 the next morning someone finally called us. She scheduled an electrician to come out "between 10-12." The electrician showed up towards the end of the window and said there was no battery in there at all, the previous guests must of removed it when it started beeping. I do wonder how they reached it, having tried the various chairs and step ladders to no avail. Then again, no one in our party is particularly tall so maybe there's that explanation. Anyway, that was that. I also mentioned the ants and was told I'd be reimbursed for ant spray if I bought some. This surprised me as an entire bed was out of commission. They also said they'd credit us a night's stay, which they did (a refund of $178 off a 3 night/$1333 bill). While waiting for the electrician, I discovered a large whiskey barrel-type planter (minus the dirt and plants) was sitting on the lower deck with a few inches of water in it. Once I dumped the water and the local residents (the skeeters, not the people) bugged off, the situation was much improved. I thought we were on the up and up. We went to the store and did, in fact, get some ant spray when the unwelcomed guests sta...
