Summary: We ended up leaving early because we didn’t realize my dog would hear every time another dog walked by the room. All the floors are concrete in the rooms too and we wish we would have brought our dogs bed for more comfort. We didn’t realize there would not be a rug. Love the walking paths and dog park! Great aesthetic overall

Summary: This place is great. But cut it a little slack. This is a place for drinking beer and being drunk. So you can imagine that things get beat up pretty quickly. This place has a brewery a huge barn a restaurant outside entertainment board games you can bring your dog everything. If you can find a good price on this place stay here. It is worth it just to go to stay in the hotel.

Summary: I had a very good experience staying at the DogHouse Hotel in Columbus. The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, the ambiance is unique, and it’s a perfect place if you’re traveling with a dog. Everything was clean and well thought out. The only downside was the customer service. I checked in around 9:30 at night and the desk clerk seemed more focused on chatting with a friend or guest sitting at the bar than acknowledging me. It didn’t slow down the check-in process, but it felt a bit disrespectful to have someone casually carry on a conversation while helping a customer. The next morning, I was also yelled at by the receptionist for having my dog “too close” to the breakfast buffet. My dog was simply standing behind me, outside the dining area, while I made a plate of food. Despite those two interactions, I still had a great stay. The hotel itself is excellent and I would definitely come back. I just hope the staff training catches up to the quality of the hotel.
