Positive: The view and the rooms were great - better than all the places in Leh for sure. This review is not for the stay but for the spa and services.
Negative: This review only for the SPA. The spa person messed up my back. I told him twice to not put so much pressure but he kept saying I have knots and put ridiculous amounts of pressure on my entire back. At the time I let it be but after 2 hours the pain started. I had to take a painkiller and sleep for the night. The entire next day was my travel back so I couldn’t even go to a doctor. I have to now 15 days of Physio with severe pain killer medicines because it has given me acute pain on my entire right side and am unable to function. I’m lucky I’m not dealin They should be informing about the pressure before the start of the massage and asking if that level of pressure is fine or not for the specific person. There was no such communication. I’m lucky I’m not dealing with a slip disc with the amount of pressure that was used during the treatment.
Summary: I’m writing this so this doesn’t happen to future guests. Please do not use the spa. They don’t have an in house masseus

Positive: Our stay at Dolkhar Resort was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Since we only had two days in Leh, I contacted the hotel in advance to help us make the most of our time, and the team went above and beyond. They assisted with every little detail and crafted an incredible itinerary for us, which made the entire trip feel seamless and stress-free. The villa itself was outstanding — beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and filled with thoughtful amenities. One thing I especially appreciated was how seriously the hotel takes acclimatization and guest wellbeing. They measured our oxygen levels upon arrival and even provided an oxygen machine in each villa. I honestly did not expect to experience severe altitude sickness, but these details made a huge difference and genuinely helped us during our stay. The restaurant and bar were also fantastic, with excellent food, drinks, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this is the perfect place for anyone staying in Leh, especially if you need time to acclimatize before continuing to explore the region. The level of care, comfort, and hospitality here was truly outstanding.
