Positive: Lovely well appointed give that was very clean. Comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and great kitchen. Very nice pool which we really enjoyed and all set in a peaceful rural location but still close to shops, restaurants wineries and quaint towns. Very kind and helpful hosts who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Negative: It was very, very hot during our stay and only the upstairs bedroom was air conditioned. Another aircon unit was really needed in the other bedroom for comfortable sleeping. This would not have been a problem if it had not been so very hot, but summers are getting more so in Europe each year we find and our friends did suffer somewhat at night. Otherwise all good and highly recommended. We would love to return.

Positive: Exceptionally clean and neat and charming. Well stocked. Very helpful hosts. The pool added a nice touch although we’re not able to use it because the weather was a bit cool.
Negative: Would prefer lighter weight bedding because the blankets or comforters on the beds were a bit too heavy and hot. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Positive: The peacefulness of the location. The plunge pool. Marta and Iain the hosts were fantastic. I was unwell at the beginning of my stay and Marta organised a Dr, she then drove me to the Dr and translated for me. Marta spent many hours at the Drs with me. They were both kind and happy to help in any way we needed. We truly loved our stay

Positive: Lovely vineyard/farmhouse. A welcome respite from 3 intense travel weeks! Easy to locate, charming interior, fully equipped kitchen. We appreciated the welcome bottle of their limited private label delicious wine so much that we drank 3 more bottles (well priced and available for shipping) The only thing that would have made this perfect was if we had been able to stay for a week or two! Owners Marta and lain are a delightful couple.

Positive: The gîte was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The owners have gone above and beyond to provide every possible comfort. This is truly 5* self-catering accommodation. The Lodge was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The location is really pretty and quiet. The sunsets behind the property each evening so you get a great light show! Beautiful private garden, pool area and alfresco dining area
